Call For Local Films: Tales From The 954
Be part of Fort Lauderdale Film Festival’s community-driven film project which invites residents to submit two-minute videos showcasing life in Broward County. Select clips will be featured in a three-day festival at Savor Cinema from August 11–13, starting with a red carpet celebration. The event welcomes filmmakers of all ages and styles to create a collage of stories from the 954 and 754 area codes.
ELIGIBILITY: This call is for Broward County residents only.
WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY? Create a two minute (or less) video that showcases your life in the 954 or 754. The films can be live action narrative, short animation, or documentary. Categories will also include Middle and High School films, as well as adult entries.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Tuesday, July 1, 2025
