Call to Artists: Royal Caribbean Artist Discovery Program 2025
Royal Caribbean is back for a second year, seeking brilliant Caribbean artists to create art installations on their new ship, Star of the Seas.
The Royal Caribbean Artist Discovery Program spotlights up-and-coming local artists, showcasing their creativity, talent and culture to the millions of guests that sail with the cruise line each year.
Four artists will be selected to come aboard and create a large-scale mural in one of four marquee locations on Star of the Seas, before the ship sets sail in the Caribbean in August 2025.
Budget: Up to $105,000 commission budget
Submission Deadline: Saturday, February 15, 2025
Eligibility: Artist or artist teams living in any of Royal Caribbean’s Caribbean cruise destinations
What You Need To Apply? Five samples of previous works: The work must be original. A brief artist statement that helps explain their work, inspiration and other details regarding the pieces submitted. A copy of their CV/resume.
